Impactful glowing light is a common theme in my process, be it the shining stars or the sun dancing on the silhouette of the figures I paint. Light is fascinating, as it is ever changing and influences the interpretation and mood of figures. My ambition to master depth and details comes with passion for rich color and texture as I lay down each layer of paint. With the subjects often being animals, my work forms deep emotional connections to viewers primarily through eyes and expressions.

My work reflects perceptions of strength, courage, and security. I attribute these qualities in myself to the support of loved ones, life experiences, and adventures. This essence is naturally transferred into my paintings, as it fortifies the desire to become the best version of myself.
