Fluorescent spray paint is the initial layer of this piece...so much fun! Look closely, and you'll see hints of fluorescent pink, green, orange, and blue.

This decorative artwork was created during a still life workshop held in the beautiful poolside courtyard of our hotel during our art retreat in Spetses, Greece. We each arranged our choice of items to paint and focused on staying loose and allowing the vibrance of the spray paint under-layer to shine through. The basket itself was quite challenging, but once I established the basic form and lines, it was fun to play up various hints of color.
